We are pleased to host a beginners’ calligraphy workshop in our Paper Tiger shop on Stafford Street. This workshop will introduce you to the art of modern calligraphy, using brush pens.

Join Clare, our calligraphy teacher, who will guide you through a number of exercises, teaching you the foundations of modern calligraphy.  The class will learn mark-making, lettering, and words.

All materials will be provided for you, as well as an instructional booklet to take home and continue your practice.  Participants will also receive a Paper Tiger tote bag with Paper Tiger goodies and a discount on any purchases made in store on the day.  The workshop begins promptly at 6.30 pm and concludes at 8 pm

We ask that all participants wear a facemask when attending the workshop and follow our social distancing and hygiene guidelines.  All participants will be asked to supply their name and telephone number at the time of booking.  All workshops will take place in a socially distanced environment and we will have a seating plan in place.  Any tickets bought together will be seated together, if you wish to be seated with other participants, or wish to be socially distanced from those you have bought tickets for, please let us know as soon as you are able.  We will provide access to toilets but regret we cannot offer refreshments, we do however encourage participants to bring their own.

An Introduction to Modern Calligraphy is suitable for anyone ages 12+, all under 16s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.  All those attending must have purchased a ticket.
